What kind of draft pick will the Packers get when they trade him next year?
I'm thinking 3rd round at least!
Hoping for 2nd...........
Thoughts?

I don't know, but I want Seattle to pick him up. I don't understand how John Schneider, Seattle's GM and former personnel analyst with the Packers, didn't think to bring him over when he came to Seattle.

It's great when you have a Matt Flynn coming off the bench.
Just keep him away from the Bears and Vikings

Flynn is a free agent at seasons end. So Green Bay wont get a boatload of draft picks for him.

I'm not all that well-read on the new CBA, but they could just franchise player tag him and then deal him, no?

Not unless they franchise him then hold him for ransom.

Ya, suppose they could do that, but they would either have to be willing to pay him over $14 million next year if no trade market for him appears. Other free agents they have will also play a role in the decision.

Finley may be gone, he dropped way too many passes this season.

When the starting QB plays at an all world level, and then the back-up QB comes in and plays at the same level, you have to consider that the system and the surrounding cast (offesive line, in particular) may be contributing greatly to the success of the QB.

You're going to credit Green Bay's offensive line? Really? The weakest part of their whole offense? Alrighty then...

+1
Rogers is a great talent, but I give a lot of credit to good receivers and scheme.
The OL is the weakest offensive link on the Packers. Right up there with the DL!
