On a side note, NL pitchers are today breathing a huge sigh of relief:

a) Albert Pujols gone to the Angels (37 HR, .299 BA, 99 RBI)
b) Prince Fielder gone to the Tigers (38 HR, .299 BA, 120 RBI)
c) Ryan Braun suspended for 50 games (33 HR, .332 BA, 111 RBI)

That's 108 HR's, 330 RBI and a .310 BA GONZO to the AL. Look for record setting years for NL ERA champs this year.

Prince went for the Pizza Pizza option.

And don't forget about Howard not playing until midseason. Basically, SP in the NL at the beginning of the season will have to worry about Kemp, Tulo, Votto, Posey, and possibly Braun. Freaking pathetic.

That would be my guess as well.

Ruben Amaro feels better about the Ryan Howard deal after seeing this.
