Portland Trail Blazers email

Has anyone seen this little scandal that's brewing with Portland and Darius Miles? 
They (Portland) sent out an email to the other 29 teams threatening legal action if Miles is signed for the purpose of forcing the Trail Blazers to pay a luxury tax next year.
Unbelievable. I'd sign him out of spite.
