As A Miami Marlin Fan...

Posted this as "public" on my Facebook page as well, needed to be said:
As A Miami Marlins fan, I would just like to say that this last year has truly been enjoyable. I personally would like to thank all of these FAKE Marlins fans in South Florida for EXPOSING themselves for the world to see. First it was the stadium, then it was the name/uniform/logo change, and now with Ozzie Guillen comments about Fidel Castro; even though you perpetuate the stereotype that ALL South Florida fans are not "true sports fans" it is great that your true colors have been brought to light and now we know to not take ANY of your comments and opinions about the dealings of the franchise with any credence whatsoever. Once again I would like to personally say thanks to you guys and to inform you all that we won't be sharing a beer with you during our NEXT World Series championship. GO FISH GO! GO MARLINS!

I am a fan of former Miami Marlin, the late Leroy Paige
I have a 1950's Maima Marlins pennant at home to prove it.

The changed names during the off season when they got a new stadium. The name change and new uni's are part of a make over.
Guillens comments are unfortunate, but nobody went to Marlins games anyway. People are talking about the team now. The comments might help attendance. It will be interesting to see how things play out this season.

Condition of the new stadium being approved. Name change and must remain in Miami for the next 35 years.

1) No fish - ever. You are thinking of Z
2) I only bottom for non-Citadel grads - The Citadel Grads always have their best side up

Wow. 35 years of a 90% empty, $600 million dollar ballpark.

An indoor ballpark with how South Florida's weather can be? I think they can do a bit better than the 1k who would have to stick it out in this with the heat, rain and humidity
Especially if we can string some wins together, could average about 20k for the season.
