What do you think? I think it could've been an accident. I think he could've been just flailing in celebration. If so it's a shame for a guy because he's had some incidents in the past and everybody's going to make judgements based on that.
But if I had to bet I'd bet that one was not intentional.

Intentional - and it is not even close. You can see MWP see Harden, and raise his elbows and slam him.

Yes, I'm fairly certain he was an accident.

Dammit. Beat me to it. We'd have to ask his mother, though.

His name is amusing to the point of comedy. I think even Jon Stewart could find a joke there somewhere.

I'm on the fence on this. When I saw the SportCenter video at the gym this morning (no sound, of course), his face looked as if he were so into the celebration that hitting Harden could conceivably have been an accident. But his excessive windup and follow-through makes it appear intentional. It looks like that joke of a commissioner David Stern will have to make a decision on this, and I'm not sure he's going to make the right one. If this turns out to actually BE intentional and he's merely suspended and fined, well, it seems like he's turning into the behavioral version of Steve Howe. If MWP is indeed determined to have nailed Harden intentionally, especially given how violently he did so, I would think that an outright ban would be in order.

Helmets required in the NBA. Any other player, I'd be fine with it...but this guy is a Class A Cunt.

I think he got caught up in the emotion and elbowed the first person who got in his way of his celebration. Regardless he still deserves a suspension just for changing his name to Metta World Peace.

Accident or not? Seriously? I'd love to drug test the person that thinks it was an accident.

If he hadn't already locked up the title for dirtiest player in the NBA this took him over the top.

Real funny, SD.
You know full well I don't have the proper plumbing to get into Curves. I go to Fitness Works, a division of Twin Arbors Athletic Club here in Lodi.
That said, this does qualify for Comedic POY.

I dont like to see players getting injured, but I miss the physical game and hard playoff fouls from the NBA of old. Players like Harden or Bowen got knocked down if they pulled some of the stupid shit they are known for and players who flopped got hit extra hard the next time.
Back then the referees got out of the way and let them play. For example, in Game 3 of the 1987 Eastern Conference Finals, Larry Bird grabbed an offensive rebound and went up for a shot.
Bill Laimbeer (one of the greatest villains in the history of American sports) made no attempt to block Bird's shot. Instead, he delivered a WWF-style clothesline to Bird's throat which immediately started a bench-clearing brawl.
Bird was so angry that he waited until he got a good shot at Laimbeer and fired the ball at him so hard that it made Roger Clemens blush. Both players were ejected but they were not suspended.
If this would've happened today Bird and Laimbeer would be suspended for at least 5 games.
Two games later, Robert Parish went up to Laimbeer and delivered a flurry of punches to his skull (much to the delight of the Celtic fans). This was payback for Laimbeer's attack on Bird. Not only was Parish not ejected, HE WAS NOT EVEN CALLED FOR A FOUL!

Heard some former players on the radio. They stated that World POS new exactly what he was doing. Players are aware of those types of situations and World POS did this intentionally.

the more I watch grizza's signature GIF, the more I think Harden walked into him intentionally and didn't get decked all that hard.
