RIP Pro Bowl.

Apparently they'll still "select a team" for the time being so bonus clauses in players contracts can be honored. But the NFL is supposed to announce shortly they've scrapped the game.

Ironically, the move comes one year AFTER the players decided to scrap the game - which was pretty evident if you watched last season's flag football airing. Not to be confused with the flag football the NFL has turned into on a weekly basis...

If this happens, the blame goes squarely on the players and rules.

Not that I have watched more than 5 minutes of one for the past 10 years.

I don't care.

Has anyone ever watched a whole Pro Bowl game? Heck, I'm not sure I've ever watched 60 minutes of Pro Bowl games if I added up all the minutes I have watched. Good riddance.

Brett Farve always used to sprain his ankle walking off the field after the last game. At least he always claimed injury.......he turned down going to that game more than he went especially in his later years (the good ones still).

Then the blame should fall on you - and me - for not watching.

The Pro Bowl sucked, it's good that they killed it. MLB and the NHL should take note, their all-star games suck too.

The only all-star game that is even remotely interesting is the NBA, the lack of defense allows for some worthy offensive highlights.
