As stated before great idea it will help guys from small schools develop their skills to play in the NFL.

And it'll be a pool of athlete's to replace guys after injuries late in the season as positions get thin.

The original USFL was a great product. Good football with some of the best players available. It competed with the NFL for for top notch talent.

And it still failed. Nobody will get excited about a new minor league. This league will fail too.

Oh, they won, all right, but got a whopping $1 (trebled to $3 under antitrust laws), which killed the league on the spot. If they'd left well enough alone and kept to the spring schedule, they'd have been fine.
