Good luck to the guy, but I seriously doubt he'll be able to do it. No matter how well you're conditioned and use quality footwear, feet, knees, and hips aren't going to hold up to that amount of abuse without rest.

The link was taking forever to load so if that's the Eddie Izzard thing my apologies but if not he did something similar a couple years back and he's a show biz guy by trade not necessarily a marathoner.
