Yes Durant played his heart out finished with 36 and LeBron put up valiant response with 30!!!Screamin_Eagle174 wrote:GO SONIC THUNDER!!!![]()
Yes that fourth qtr explosion was the Heat's downfall!!!bluehenbillk wrote:Westbrook & Durant are super-impressive. OKC just plays the Heat's game better than the Heat do. LeBron didn't play poorly, Wade didn't play well.
Spolestra has to find a way to slow down Westbrook. They didn't show they had anybody that could guard him last night. They may be best off sagging off him & giving him uncontested 20+ footers.
Sticking with my Thunder in 6 call.
Led by Old Dominion's Dave Twardzik.Ivytalk wrote:The Heat remind me of those late 70s Sixers teams with Dr. J and McGinnis that never won a title. After they lost in the finals to Portland, their marketing caption for the next year was "We Owe You One." After another playoff debacle the next year, the fans were saying "You Owe Us Two!"
But that same squad won a decade later at the expense of the Lakers in '83.Ivytalk wrote:The Heat remind me of those late 70s Sixers teams with Dr. J and McGinnis that never won a title. We are no longer pals.andy7171 wrote:I'm rooting for the Heat. Time for everyone to get off Lebrons back.
Why? So he can win 5 championships and say I told you so?andy7171 wrote:I'm rooting for the Heat. Time for everyone to get off Lebrons back.
Bandwagoner...just like he was when Townsend State University beat ODU on a fluke last year.CAA Flagship wrote:Why? So he can win 5 championships and say I told you so?andy7171 wrote:I'm rooting for the Heat. Time for everyone to get off Lebrons back.

Well the same franchise but hardly the same squad. Dr. J was the only common link between the 2 teams. You went from Henry Bibby & Doug Collins to Maurice Cheeks & Andrew Toney at guard. Swap George McGinnis for Bobby Jones and insert Moses "Fo-Fo-Fo" Malone at Center and yea, hardly the same squad, but the same small forward.dal4018 wrote:But that same squad won a decade later at the expense of the Lakers in '83.Ivytalk wrote:The Heat remind me of those late 70s Sixers teams with Dr. J and McGinnis that never won a title. Stop hijacking this thread.
Andy your right every time they are counted out they win before game 6 vs Boston they were pronounced DOA by everyone and who came to the rescue LeBron's 45-15-5 effort in the Fleet Center. That place sounded like a empty stadium after that performance.andy7171 wrote:I'm rooting for the Heat. Flagship, we're sure not gonna miss your sorry Jersey azz after ODU leaves for FBS. You do realize that, once you leave, all your silly posts will be expunged by the Mods. And razor's.CAA Flagship wrote:Led by Old Dominion's Dave Twardzik.Ivytalk wrote:The Heat remind me of those late 70s Sixers teams with Dr. J and McGinnis that never won a title. Kobe earned the keys after he went 0'fer in Utah in 97. Wade won with Shaq, just like Kobe did. Wade being with Lebron has turned into a bitch.CAA Flagship wrote:grizza, grizzaholic wrote:Flag, here is a sig for ya.
I'm OK with Wade. He has earned all the respect that he gets. Unlike James and Bryant who were handed the keys before they did anything.
