Starting at midnight the Free Agent Season started.

From the Strib, the Timberwolves are seeking the following to sign or trade for.
The team's pursuit of aging Los Angeles Lakers star Pau Gasol by trade -- even if it costs them last year's No. 2 overall pick, Derrick Williams -- and former All-Star Brandon Roy or veteran Jamal Crawford in free agency are two possible next steps.

Gasol would fill the 5 spot, Love is the 4 and a Rubio when he gets back from rehab will be the 1. Roy or Crawford would help with the 2 or 3 spots.

Mavs will be a huge player in FA. So much cap room. If Dirk gets another star, Mavs going to bring home another ring.

If Twolves can pick up Crawford and Pau, thats a damn good team.

Looks like Brooklyn might be completing with the Heat if they can get both Williams and Howard.

Steve Nash to the Lakers, he's old but will help them.

Beasley to the Suns, he's labeled as a troubled player, but he actually just needs to learn to focus.

That's a big pick-up for the Lakers. Nash isn't at the top of his game still but his game is still pretty darn good.

He was never started.

I've said it since his time at OSU. He will never play any amount of time to actually be of any value.

He missed a ton of time at OSU even with a wrist injury

How ,will a 40 yr old point guard help the Lakers ,he has never been known as a great defender .And teams will spot him as a liability on defense. His teammates ,will have to compensate to help him that ,means the man that they are guarding will have free reign to do whatever they please.

Yeah....a PG that puts up 13 points and 10 assists per game is a terrible get.

He will be great to run pick and rolls with Pau and Bynum. Their production will go go, and teams having to adjust to defending that will open Kobe up as well....along with him not having to play point as well as 2 at the same time.

You don't understand a team signing Nash - who isn't 40 he's 38....yet you get excited about a team signing Kidd...who is a YEAR OLDER than Nash.

I don't understand you at all.

Yeah....a PG that puts up 13 points and 10 assists per game is a terrible get.

Yes offensively he is a major upgrade over what ,they have now but as stated what about the other end ,plus he has a bad back as well. You don't think others teams will have trouble ,spotting a 40 yr old point guard on the defensive side of the ball yeah right!!!!

Okay but most of the ppl on this list will blow by Nash and with the exception of Fisher and Kidd all of these guys are still in their prime.Give me youth any day of the week over Nash.Looks like I spoke too soon Kidd is headed back east to play mentor for Lin with the Knicks. You forgot Shumpert he is a excellent defender as a point guard.
