White Sox acquire Liriano
White Sox acquire Liriano
Ok Twins guys, Liriano for Escobar and Pedro Hernandez in the first trade between these teams since 1986. Twins must have been pretty desperate to get rid of him to trade him to a division rival

I live there, so I get to keep up on the Twinkie news. Liriano is a free agent at the end of the season. Good pitcher when he is on, but very inconsistant, and can be very bad too. Never regained his old form after arm surgery. Mentally never regained his confidence. The White Sox pitching coach has to be better than the Twins pitching coach. As a Tigers fan, I say good luck with Lirano, it's like spinning the roulette wheel each start.

I hear ya Gil, only reason I like it is because he was virtually free, like Youkilis was

When he's good - he's good.
When he is what he is 99% of the time....well....there's a reason the Twins didn't try to hard to keep him.

If the Sox have a shrink or pitching coach that can give him confidence, this could be great.isumatt wrote:I hear ya Gil, only reason I like it is because he was virtually free, like Youkilis was
