Armanti making an impression at Panthers camp

Post by ASUG8 »

Let's hope he can hang on and make the team.
The former Appalachian State star has impressed coaches enough in training camp to play with the second team at receiver and maintain his starting spot as punt returner, all while fending off a legion of players at both positions.

“Armanti has come along very well,” coach Ron Rivera said. “And the nice thing for Armanti, this is his third full training camp as a wide receiver. So we’re starting to see what you’re looking for in terms of the progress.”

I'd like to see them move him back to quarterback....

Who did he make an impression of? Jerry Rice? :rimshot:

In all seriousness, I wish him nothing but the best. FCS solidarity.

I don't have HBO, but apparently HBO Hard Knocks is covering the Dolphins this year and Pat Devlin has gotten some face time. He's likely looking at a 3rd string or practice squad slot, according to the people on GoHens following him more closely than I am.
