The preseason is finally here, with meaningful games just around the corner. Let the shit talking begin.
Watching the Cards/Chiefs game right now... Kolb and the Cards OL look like shit. Both this week and in the HOF game.

How much of that is attributable to Kolb's suckage (yes, he reminds me quite a bit of Scott Mitchell), and how much to sub-par OL play? Are the receivers having a massive case of Butterfingers?

Equal amounts of both.

I'll project the final 2010 standings as....
Sea 7-9
STL 7-9
SF 6-10
AZ 5-11

I wasn't a big fan when they were first unveiled, but after seeing them tonight, I like 'em. The darker blue is a lot better, and contrasts nicely with the neon green. The only thing I don't like about them is the design on the shoulders.

SF: 11-5
SEA: 10-6
ARI: 7-9
STL: 5-11

Kolb has a Blutarsky-like 0.0 passing rating through two games. Skelton has been better by comparison, but he has struggled badly, too.
Kolb has yet to shake his habit of seeing pressure and not decisively reading the defense. This isn't just about the preseason; he's struggled in practice, too.
No one seems to be winning this quarterback battle.

My prediction:
SF 10-6
SEA 9-7
Zona 6-10
Rams 4-12
The NFC West schedules are brutal this year. I could see the winner of the division being 9-7.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. K. Kolb = S. Mitchell.

That is all.

A combo of Robert Turbin and Skittles.
That is all.

I know it's only preseason, but this is gonna be a special year for the Hawks. Can't wait for the SF/SEA slugfests.

Be careful what you wish for....
Oh, and I'm digging the Seahawks' new unis and QB. Nice job on both accounts. Just don't let Jim Harbaugh beat up on him too badly.

I wasn't a fan of them initially, but after seeing them on the field, they've grown on me. As for DangeRuss, he'll be fine. I'd be more worried about Alex Smith getting picked off by Seattle's primary.

Defense should be nasty if they stay healthy. QB should be good after what we've seen so far. And heck, we even have a capable backup if WIlson gets injured. Running game and O-line look promising. The only problem seems to be the WRs. Should be a fun year nonetheless. The future looks bright!!

so with a better QB and no major pieces lost to FA, they are 3 wins worse than last year?

Hawks will win at least 8, likely more.
