Ticker across ESPN reporting he signed with an independent team today and is set to start Saturday for them...

Hasn't pitched competitively since 2007. :dunce: :dunce:

Fast ball clocked at 87? Shit, he'd be mowing down t-ballers left and right with heat like that!

He's either trying to prove to Hall of Fame voters that the improvements in his game during his golden years weren't the result of PED's or he's donating the proceeds from this new contract to the Andy Pettitte Selective Amnesia Foundation. I bet Andy remembers the account number.......

He's just trying to push back his HOF eligibility plain & simple....

He'll never live to see himself get in.

Yup, the pathetic Astro's will probably sign him for the last week of the season and let him pitch an inning. That will re-set his HOF clock, and he hopes people will forget he was a massive steroid user in 5 years.

He'd be the #1 starter on the Astros right now.
