I would have to say the fans of Seattle they are the ones who lost more than Stern he still collects checks and the fans sat back and watched their former squad represent another city in the finals!!!!!What did the ppl in Seattle have against The Napoleon of the NBA!!!!!JALMOND wrote:Probably before then.dal4018 wrote:Supposedly a new stadium is being built in Seattle so maybe it will happen.Adam Silver will take his place.![]()
The scuttlebutt from here in the NW is that Stern did not like the negativity toward him from Seattle and so when the Sonics threatened to move to Oklahoma, Stern did not step in to block it. He said he did, but Sonic fans think otherwise.
Being a Blazer fan, it was interesting to figure out who the bigger fool was, the Sonic fans who thought somehow that insulting the commissioner would save the team, or Stern who let a successful mid-market team leave for a small market Midwest city.
