RUN THE BALL! That's been their problem all season - not utilizing Rice. :dunce:

Replaced by the promoted Jim Caldwell, former HC at Wake Forest and the Indianapolis Colts.

The timing seems a tad weird, but also sounds like something that's been long brewing....

Anything would be an improvement. Is Rex Ryan available?

This has been needed for years. I was at the game yesterday. Absolutely baffling why Ray Rice isn't in the game on crucial 3rd downs in the fourth quarter. Flacco isn't progressing. Torry Smith has been unseen but for a play herre or there for the last month. And the lack of Ray Rice. Last week with just 12 touches. This week he gets 60 yards on the first three plays and not so much else. The Skins defense is in shambles and they shut down the offense in the second half.

Half the town is on suicide watch.

Joe Flacco said that he was more comfortable using the No Huddle.

My wife had to leave the room I was shouting so much - Rice/Pierce were gashing the heck out of the Skins at the start of the 2nd half and then Cam dials up a pass with no help for Michael "The Matador" Oher on the blind side? 20 more yards at that point and they get the FG and a 2 score lead. And then on the next series he goes empty backfield in the red zone? That fumble was half on Flacco for not throwing it to the drunk Santa in row F (or was that you Andy?) if Boldin wasn't open, but you gotta think that Haslett would be blitzing in that situation, so what the heck was Cam doing? And do they even have a slant route in their playbook?

Michael Oher needs to blind side his ass out of the NFL.

To be fair Oher is playing out of position. He's a right tackle playing left. McKinnie came in out of shape and has been on the shit list all season. So now they have two people out of position to make up for it.

The movie title would imply he should be playing left tackle, unless Ole Miss had a left-handed QB. :coffee:

He's pretty much proven he can't play either position very well, regardless.

Ray Rice is reportedly suffering from a hip pointer which is why Bernard Pierce is seeing an increased workload.

Pierce is pretty damn good - and the Ravens OL is pretty competent when tasked with road paving, plus Boldin is almost as nasty a downfield blocker as Hines Ward was back in his day - which is why Cam abandoning the run these last couple weeks while protecting leads has been exasperating...

If Cameron is, as I believe, a WCO disciple, the short pass in lieu of the run is a standard staple, so his using it is at least UNDERSTANDABLE. However, as all the world knows, there's a major problem with that when protecting leads: the clock stops on incompletions. That alone makes runs MUCH more attractive when in burn-clock mode. Even a WCO disciple should know that. It's a basic element of Clock Management 101: when ahead late, RUN THE BALL, especially wide-side sweeps, with instructions to the back to NOT go out of bounds, no matter how he has to do that. Some coaches would even use QB sweeps to effect that to minimize the chances of a fumble on the exchange. If Cameron forgot THAT, then he DESERVES to be fired. Doing so with three weeks left is kinda fishy, but it HAD to be done.

No. Paired with Yonda as RG, RT and in years previous with Grubbs as RG, RT they were dominant. McKinnie on the shit list has everyone out of position and playing poorly.

Then tell Mickey! Mick didn't die yet, did he? Please God, I hope not. Who will train Rocky?

Mick died before Rocky fought Clubber Lang. I saw him loaded into a wall.
