When will people realize it's the system, not the players. I thought the season with Cassel at the helm would have proven this but apparently not.Brady easily. Not even close, really. The year he's having with all the injuries to the Pats skill position players is crazy.
The problem with the argument about how good the Pats are without him is that in the NFL the MVP is usually more or less a Best Player award and is given to a player deemed to have been the best player in the league.clenz wrote:Pats are still a9 win team without himeagleskins wrote:Brady easily. Vikings would be lucky to have a win without AP
Sent from the nexus of the universe
Agreed he is on pace for 2K!!!clenz wrote:AP is by far the single most valuable player to any team in the NFL and it's not close.
However, we all know mvp means best player on best team

Then the award is mis-named.UNHWildCats wrote:The problem with the argument about how good the Pats are without him is that in the NFL the MVP is usually more or less a Best Player award and is given to a player deemed to have been the best player in the league.clenz wrote: Pats are still a9 win team without him

Using that I'd say its down to Brady and Peterson, though Manning will get support based on having missed last season and it makes for a great story. In the end I expect it to be a close vote, possible even with two of Brady, Peterson and Manning sharing the award.
So sign Tommy Kramer....Seahawks08 wrote:The dude is simply a beast. If they had any kind of a QB and WR threat minus Harvin, this team would be a superbowl favorite.
They need to go shopping next April for another WR to help out Ponder.Seahawks08 wrote:The dude is simply a beast. If they had any kind of a QB and WR threat minus Harvin, this team would be a superbowl favorite.
As stated before Ponder isn't the problem.SuperHornet wrote:So sign Tommy Kramer....Seahawks08 wrote:The dude is simply a beast. If they had any kind of a QB and WR threat minus Harvin, this team would be a superbowl favorite.
