I still remember the day the arbitrator ruled for the Flyers over the Rangers. Had to be summer, because I was sitting on the beach listening to WIP on the radio. Was so stoked at the time. Remember it like yesterday.

We used to play NHL on Sega growing up and I was always the Flames or the Kings. We didn't have the 'Canes yet (they moved from Hartford in 1997). To this day, I'll root for Calgary and the Bruins (the Stingrays are an affiliate.) as well as Carolina.

My brother would be Detroit so I would play a Canadian team just to fuck with him. ( I don't know what his deal is with Canadians, especially since we have such a strong history with Quebec and the early settlement of New France.)
