Joe Flacco SI Cover

This is getting big play here in Baltimore as you can imagine. The whole town has a chip on their shoulder to begin with, every little thing is taken as a sign of disrespect. Whatever. I root for the team 30 miles south, but even I am confused by this...
This is Flacco's 5th season. He's taken the team to five post season births, and three AFC championship games. Last year, he out played Brady and was a dropped TD pass away from a Super Bowl. What exactly is his "legacy"? Is it bad? What more does he have to do? Matt Ryan just got his first post season win, and he was lucky to get it. Joe has 7 post season wins. They are constantly compared to each other due to both being 1st round draft classmate. But somehow the media loves Ryan and not Flacco.
Can anyone explain?

Like I said, I'm a Redskins fan. IDGAF.
I just checked Peyton Manning was 0-3 in post season play his first 5 years. Good ole Joe is 7-4. What is his legacy he's needs to re-write?

If the Ravens win Sunday Flacco will stand alone as the NFL's all-time leader in road playoff wins as a QB. He's currently tied with Eli.

I'm impressed that Joe has doubled his eyebrows to two now.
Amazing what some NFL money will do.

I guess he got sick of people on local sports talk radio calling him Bert Flacco.

If Baltimore actually lost their mind and got rid of him (which isn't an unthinkable outcome, either, although it would be monumentally stupid) the list of teams that would go after him are numerous. KC and Arizona come to mind right away as top possibilities.

They still must get by Ray Lewis and company. They have played very well against Tom Terrific in the postseason lately. So its not a given that the Pats will advance.

Pats-Falcons Super Bowl
EDIT: I just noticed that Kaepernick is on BOTH the West coast and East coast covers...whileas Flacco is only on the East cover. Also, Kap is wearing the Niners road jersey but Joe has Balt's home colors on and they're on the road. There may yet be hope for the Ravens.
- Spoiler: show
