The US Women's National Football Team is holding trials this weekend in Texas to determine who will wear the Red, White, and Blue to defend our inaugural gold medal at the second Women's World Championship of American Football this summer in Vataa, Finland. I think that eight teams will be there this time (there were six in 2009). On the list of candidates are a long list of Sacramento Sirens, including the starting quarterback and the best DL.
Good luck to the candidates! Go to Finland and bring back that gold medal!!!

Why's that, dal? Hoops was invented in Kansas, yet we have a world championship for that.

Yeah point taken but it smells of Western arrogance just saying.

In one area of the guys' competition, it was years before the US even bothered to take part, and Japan has won two world championships.

'tis not as bad as calling MLB's championship the "World Series" when it is all US teams (plus one Canadian team)
