NFL refs SUCK. There were about 10 completely bogus calls in that game. And not all went the Cards way. They should be embarrassed with the way the refereed that game.
Really sad that the game came down to the play at the end of the first half.

Yes, the refs sucked. Big time. Inconsistent holding calls (Pittsburgh held on the final "Touchdown" which wasn't one.
But that last play of the first half will haunt me for the rest of my life.

That was some pretty crappy defense they played on the last drive though.

Refs did Arizona no favors either. Holding calls, roughing the passer/holder WTF was that.

Yeah, the AZ defense needed to step up. And they didn't. Can't do that and win a ball game. Reminds me of another team I know.

Jesus freak and certified retard Kurt Warner did not pray enough. Notice that asshole kept the jesus bullshit to a minimum at his press conference? Jesus is a Steeler fan. Jesus doesn't like fukcs like Warner who profit from christianity. I'm embarrassed that asshole came from UNI.
Warner single-handedly lost the game with his interception and fumbles. Jesus hates him.

second year in a row that I would have won about $5,000 had the last touchdown not been scored.
Last year wasn't so bad, considering I needed to the Giants to lose in order to win my money (I'm a Giants fan).
This year sucked. Not only did I lose my money, but I also wanted AZ to win.

The only embarrassment to UNI is D1B.

Here is my beef with the whole thing, and one of my buddies pointed it out. Do people who thank their lord and savior after a game, really think that Jesus, God, whatever, gives a FLYING FUCK about a game going on in Tampa, let alone that fuck stick in particular. I pray to God, that he has better things to worry about accross this world, than focusing on this one particular worshipper's super bowl. Does he thank him thinking that he took the time to just help HIM win it all, because I am sure other people pray to win it all. What about everyone else, are you so special in Jesus' eyes that he only helped you win? If someone can point out to me that whole "thanking Jesus" thing and how it makes any sense to do so after a football game, i would greatly appreciate it.

That's simple.
Sense.Make.None.
End.

First, Warner aint a Catholic.
Second, catholics generally do not preach loudly and obnoxiously, and publicly credit Jesus for every god damn thing - whack job fundamentalists like Warner do though.
Third, rather than attack someone, others figured out my point which is the ridiculousness that some high profile athletes show in expressing their faith. Warner openly credited Jesus, our savior and allmighty with the victory over Philly a couple weeks ago. How stupid!
Fourth, people like Warner and other doofuses who behave like him make christianity look even worse. I'm bashing the idiots, not the religion.

You should be thankful that that fukc Warner did not get empowered with a victory. You can credit assholes like him for demeaning and openly discriminating against gays.
The glass is half full my friend.

If nothing else the Cards proved they were just as good of a team as Pitt was. Sorry, but after Arizona shot themselves in the foot with a penalty after they picked off a Steeler pass, set a record for the most yards penalized in the SB, AND gave the other team a 100-yard pick-6, there is no way that the Cards were the underdog that people say they were. I know Pitt made mistakes but not nearly as many as AZ. As far as I am concerned, this was the second-straight Superbowl upset.

Arizona got jobbed numerous times:
1) Holding calls - called on Arizona many times, similar takedowns by Pittsburgh not called
2) Block in the back - Tim Hightower was blocked in the back on the interception return - no call
3) Roughing the passer - bullshit call on Dansby, later hits on Warner not called
4) Roughing the holder - Wilson was PUSHED into him
5) James Harrison - he should have been ejected for throwing multiple punches
6) Hines Ward - threw a punch, not flagged
7) Last fumble was NOT a fumble - his arm was in motion

But Obama wanted Pitt to win.

Over analyzing it DB. You sound like AZ after the Griz get beat. The above shit happens in every game.
How many of those holding calls were on Gandy, like 3? He was overmatched. Good calls, all of em, including the one in the endzone on Pitt that resulted in a safety.
Cry all you want, bottomline, it came down to the 14 point swing at the end of the first half - Warner's fault.
