I guess Jesus didn't want Kurt Warner to win

Thank god that Jesus freak didn't win yesterday. We were spared the inevitable Kurt Warner "Jesus is savior" tour. That fukc is a Jerry Falwell in training and another SB win would have just empowered that piece of shit even more.

Fuck Kurt Warner. He's a mentally retarded christian cultist and embarrassment to UNI alums.

While I don't wish a loss on anyone except Furman ... what is with everyone praying to God, poinitng to the sky, etc. while playing football or any other sport. I guess I should walk around my office and point my finger in the air and thank god for putting on a good brief.

I am a christian, but I was always taught to live your life in a Christian manor, not parade around and publically announcing my faith (yes this sentence is hypocritical). Play the game, thank god privately ... if you want. We know the potential risks that players take, that is why they get the big bucks.

Think if I was under 25 and getting paid gobs of millions of dollars to play a game I love to play, I'd get about thanking every thing in sight.

Props to you.

People like Warner are fanatical and have a warped idea on what being a christian means. His chronic crediting of Jesus betrays an adolescent understanding of christ's message as well as undermines the impact that coaches, friends, teammates, owners, managers, wealth, money, marketing and advertising has had on his career.
