I'll bet she decides to turn right in less than 50 laps.

My bad. I thought this thread was about Danica running naked in the street because she did something special.

We're talking about Wendy from The Wonder Years, right?

Danica DOES have a race win (admittedly in IRL, not NASCAR), something that thousands of drivers of the male persuasion can't say.

In 33 Nationwide races last season, running in top equipment, she had only 4 top 10s. And in 10 Sprint races her top finish was 17th.

A guy with her results wouldn't receive even 1% of the attention she is getting, and would be struggling to even maintain a ride.

The only thing of note she has done in NASCAR is win the pole for Daytona. But qualifying at Daytona is mostly about the car, not about the driver.

Despite SH's insisting otherwise, winning the pole is the first things she's done in NASCAR to warrant even a little bit of the attention/hype she gets. She will wreck this weekend.

Sorry, Winnie. Google Danica McKeller.

Also, even if you have the fastest car, you can't win Daytona without drafting help. Danica has yet to show that she is savvy enough to put herself in a position to use the draft and win at the end. Even if she has the fastest car all day, and avoids the "big one", I suspect a more experienced driver will own her at the end.

She has one victory in eight years of professional racing. The gal certainly earned her Daytona start, but that's a dismal career by any standard. Just because thousands of male drivers can't say they've done better, it doesn't mean she's very good...yet.
