Since Danicamania has taken over CS, we need to get a good O/U and betting line for Danica at Daytona.


I may be drinking the Kool-aid but I think she will accomplish at least 165 laps but will be 2+ laps down by halfway though.

Also, she will have been involved in 2 crashes...not saying she will be the cause of, but she will be involved.

I've got 4 laps.

The "big one" may happen early when the pack looks to get by her in the early laps.

I believe you're looking for an O/U. The O/U I would set would be 103.5 laps. Why? First number that popped into my head.

I'm not sure how it'll all play out, but my bet is that at the end, she'll be on her back with her legs up in the air.

As you think about that, are you going with the left hand or the right?

I think I may have over estimated Danica with the thread title. She will probably just go straight and crash in turn 1 completing 1/4 of a lap.

I was just trying to qualify as "disgusting."

Well she started 1st in today's Budweiser Duels and finished 17th.

But she was not fighting for a starting position in the 500 and probably took it easy.

Her & Jeff Gordon are starting on the front row on Sunday - provided that they don't wreck their cars today which means they go from the front row to the back of the field to start. Patrick went almost immediately to the back & Gordon who is racing in the 2nd race is in 1st place almost halfway thru - different mindsets from drivers with a large experience gap.
