It's ironic that news of the first Chris Pronger interview in over a year comes out yesterday, Pronger who's career was cut short because of taking a stick to the eye & causing a concussion whose symptoms Pronger to this day has been unable to overcome. And then last night NY Rangers Marc Staal took a slapshot to the eye, putting his career in jeopardy...see slo-mo replay below

It's amazing after you watch a replay of this, and it happens once or twice every hockey season, ending guys careers that they still opt for "individual choice" when wearing visors. :ohno: :ohno: :ohno: :ohno:     :twocents: :twocents: :twocents:

Did you know that it's an NHL rule that players may not wear a full shield/face mask unless injured? :|

Here's the easy way to solve it, insurance companies write into their policies that facial injuries suffered while not wearing a visor are not covered. Next.

I think they should all wear them. End of story. Being manly or tough or macho is not worth an eye or an orbital bone fracture. :twocents:
