While the trade of Percy Harvin to Seattle was in the name of good team chemistry. Reports are the Vikings offered a 7th round pick for Boldin and were beaten to the punch by San Fran who offered a 6th and got Boldin.

Harvin is a great player, just hope the Seahawks can keep him happy. He has been hilarious to watch from the Green Bay Packers perspective. Vikings soap opera with Harvin's Migrane's, yelling at coach Frazier, etc, etc. Can a player smoke pot if he lives in a state that is legal?

Still against NFL rules, but players only get tested once a year for pot (during training camp), whereas PEDs are year round.

Harvin should be a good fit with both former teammate Sidney Rice and OC Darrell Bevell also in Seattle. Can you imagine the read option with Russell, Beast Mode and Harvin in the backfield?

Harvin repeatedly mentioned how excited he was to play with quarterback Russell Wilson. It's been reported that Harvin's disenchantment with Vikings quarterback Christian Ponder played a role in his exit from Minnesota. Harvin was asked why he looked forward to playing with Wilson.

"For one, his body of work, I think last year speaks for itself," Harvin replied. "Secondly, hearing the way he prepares, I admire it already. He's been texting me, I came here today, he was watching film. The offseason hasn't really kicked in with this guy. He's already in there watching film, trying to organize things.

"I admire people who work hard, that like to work. How could you not be a fan of him?"
