Quentin is an idiot. Claims that he Greinke have a history because Greinke hit him with a pitch 4 and 5 years ago. Seriously?

If Quentin is going to crowd the plate he has to know that he will get hit every once in while. He doesn't know the game if he thought Greinke was trying to hit him in that situation.

I don't think it is as much as the pitch as what Greinke said afterwords.

The way I heard it on The Mighty 1090 this morning, yes, it was a Greinke F-bomb that provoked the FIRST brawl. But it apparently wasn't Quentin who jacked Greinke up; it was Greinke's own catcher, who fell on him.

There was a SECOND brawl set off when another Dodger tried to go into the Padre dugout asking why Padre players were making fun of Greinke getting hurt. You just don't do that....

I still place most of the blame on Quentin. Any reasonable person has to know that he wasn't hit on purpose. He should have just gone to 1st base, instead he faces the pitcher.

I see that Quentin got an 8 game suspension, seems reasonable. It's more that the 5 games that many expected. There was no way that he was going to be suspended for the duration of Greinke's injury.

Quentin leads (or is near the top) in the MLB in hit-by-pitch over the last year or so. He shouldn't have charged the mound. That said I don't feel sorry for Greinke, if you look at the still pics in the slide show at the bottom of the yahoo article, he basically went straight for Quentin's cock in the brawl, only pussies do that in a brawl. And lol at Kemp for trying to start shit in the tunnel after the game, he is a bitch too. Also fuck the Dodgers.

86: I didn't say that to insinuate that Quentin is without blame here. All I meant was that he was provoked and that he likely wasn't the immediate cause of Greinke's injury. As you and SD say, despite the clear provocation, Quentin should STILL have had the wherewithal to merely go to first, and perhaps make Greinke pay with a stolen base (or two or three).
