Sergio Garcia Takes Giant Dump On Course at TPC Sawgrass

Post by 93henfan »

Well, not really. He did hit two balls into the water at 17 and one at 18 after being tied with Tiger after 16 holes.

Talk about melting under pressure...

Hell, Tiger had even put one in the water at 14 to give him new life.

Yeah I heard about his little blowup yesterday. From what I read, Tiger couldn't even see Garcia when he pulled his club out of his bag.

I saw a picture of where tiger was, there is no chance tiger saw him. Also goes is he supposed to know people will cheer just because he pulled a club out his bag.

The blow up on 17 couldn't happen to a bigger douche. I was hoping he'd go film tin cup

I'll put $100 on the table. Tiger wins a major by the end of 2015.

That's almost double my hourly rate. I expect you to pay me double your hourly rate. :D

Deal?

Tiger knew full well what he was doing and the reaction he would get.

Still, that is no excuse for SG

Oh, bullshit.

As for a major, I'd bet he wins one this year. He's playing better than he has in years.

When Sergio was hitting from the fairway on 18 after he dumped 3 balls in water, someone in crowd yelled "Water on the Left" before he hit, instead of in the hole. LMAO, best line from a gallery this year.

I was lucky enough to be on break when it happened. The gallery was blatantly cheering when the ball hit the water. And you should have heard his interview on the Golf channel after the finish. Called himself a "victim", and used the line "I wouldn't say that I lost today". All he did was put more pressure on himself by calling out Tiger and when it came down to it he choked at the end. Quadruple bogey on 17, double bogey on 18.

Also it made it even better when Lingmerth hit after him when he put the first shot in the drink and stuck the green about 10 feet from the hole, and then little Sergio, instead of laying up and at least trying to save face, goes for the hole again and the ball bounces backward into the water again.

Karma. Fitting for one of the most overrated players on the Tour.

normally when someone goes in the water the crowd is sympathetic...not with Sergio. That was one loud cheer, and louder the second time.

I've got no problem with him doing it. It's brilliant. He knew exactly how they would react to him pulling a club to signify that he was going for it.

Whether you want to believe him that someone told him SG had shot is a while other story.

You think he would've done the same thing if Stricker was his partner that day?

Yes, as clenz said, because he couldn't see him, and was told he had already hit.

It also happened when Sergio was only at address. He could have easily backed away and waited for the crowd to shut up. He's a goddamn crybaby, he was looking for attention because he hates Tiger, and I'm glad he choked it away at the end. :thumb:

And I stand by that I think Tiger will win a major this year, haters.
