The modern day version of NFL HOF Dick Butkus has retired after 13 seasons and 1 Super Bowl appearance.

Was a helluva MLB and loved watching him play. Glad he will retire as a Bear and never play for another team.

Apparently there were not as many teams interested in him as he thought would be when he bad-mouthed the Bears offer a few months ago. Either that, or other teams were offering him around the same neighborhood the Bears offered him and he realized he was at the end of his career.

Was always a fan of Urlacher, all the way back to his days at New Mexico, I'm gonna miss watching him play.

Best linebacker of this generation. Ray Lewis most overrated.

On ESPN they mentioned he was 1 of 4 players in NFL history with 40 sacks and 20 ints.

Ray Lewis, Seth Joyner and Wilbur Marshall are the other 3.

Absolutely not. Lewis has always had superior talent and coaching around him. Urlacher a much better playmaker.
