Is he going to teach them how to beat their wives too?

Probably one of the few who could command respect from Deron Williams and that locker room from walking in the door. And being that he was a long time colleague of many of those players as a senior member of the NBA players association. I'm sure that they would all want to help him succeed. Besides, its a way for the Nets to steal the spotlight in New York from the Knicks once again.

Funny you should mention AA as stated before neophyte Lawrence Frank was given the reins as head coach for the then NJ Nets and no one complained.What did he do while he was there???His star player was no other than Jason Kidd.Who was the last coach to send the Nets to the NBA finals Byron Scott the man that Kidd got fired!!!

The Brooklyn Nets have named Jason Kidd their new head coach, the team announced Wednesday night.

The hiring was first reported by ESPN's Marc Stein and Ramona Shelburne. Kidd will be introduced at a 2 p.m. ET news conference Thursday at Barclays Center.
