Congratulations to Mike Mussina

The former Yankees pitcher has been named head hoops coach at his alma mater following a disastrous 5-17 season. While I disagree with the author's characterization of Mussina's 270 Major League wins as "incredible" (that designation is reserved for starting pitchers with over 300 wins), the guy was serviceable, and should do well in a hoops role, if his three-sport-star status back in HS is any key. Mussina's been coaching JV hoops for a few years, not to mention Little League baseball. Of course, he does not expect to leave Little League to coach HS baseball any time soon (probably has a kid coming up through the ranks).
