Check out Vic Vicari. He was hit by a minivan less than a week ago. But that didn't stop him from competing in the Ironman Division of Eppie's Great Race in Sacramento. He not only competed, he WON for something like the seventh year in a row. What a way to go out. He's retiring from triathlons after this 40th Eppie's Great Race, the world's oldest triathlon. The race included a 5.82 mile run, 12.5 mile bike ride, and 6.35 mile kayak leg.
SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.
Let's be honest. It wasn't much of an accident if he still won a triathlon a week later. In fact, if you went to the emergency room for something that didn't prevent you from winning a triathlon the same week, you're a GIANT QUIVERING VAGINA!!!

No doubt.
And the guy that finished second? Next time, hit him harder! You only gave him a boo-boo.
