Caps with a pretty good comeback last night to beat the Flames in SO. Down 3-0 after one and 4-1 middle of the second. Four of their first five opponents are Western Conference and then go on a western swing in two weeks.

Avs beat the Ducks 6-1 in their season opener, and Roy gets fined 10 large for an outburst after the final horn.

Glad the league is back! Won't be going to any games until mid-April, most likely when the Bruins come to St. Paul and Winnipeg.

Break up the Panthers. 1-0 on the season. Beat the Stars last night on the road. Tim Thomas still got it. And Barkov looked good too.

At 10-1-0 the Avs are off to one of the best starts in franchise history, and lead the central division by five points. I know it's still early, but they are very much looking like a playoff team.

Coyotes are fourth in the division, 5th in conference. Points would be enough to be top team in East.

From 1-0-0 to currently 3-7-2, 7th in the Atlantic. Ouch...
