There are plenty of unique football fields in prep football, be they red, blue or even black. At the end of the day, there's currently not much room for innovation in the realm of artistic expression on high school fields.
Perhaps that will change once more people catch sight of the football field at Diamond Ranch Academy, a Hurricane, Utah residential treatment center for struggling youth which features a full, 100-yard center strip stylized after the school's Diamondback mascot. The center of the field design fills the entire space between the left and right hashmark for the entire length of the field.

Fucking Neanderthals. They're black, not colored.
Serious note: That field looks way better than Boise, UCA, and especially the EWU abomination.

Did you see the designs Missouri State is picking from?
Makes that field look awesome

Looks like something Long Beach State would do if they ever resurrected their program. Ugh!

The multi-colored one with the giant bear logo (far right third down) would be sweet actually.

Yeah, that one's not bad. The middle two in the second column are also solid.
The maroon & white ones on the left are awful, though.

I think he meant "blech," as in YUCK!
IMO, the EWU field IS nasty, but I wouldn't go so far as to use the terminology I've seen from some....

That's the only one I like. The rest make me feel better about our retina-searing yellow sidelines.

It takes sun to bleach the colors.

We live on the border of the Columbia Basin Desert and get 17 inches of precip/year, probably less than anywhere on the EC(b).
EASTERN Wasington, Flaggy.

Aren't all states only about a half hour wide by an hour and a half long or is that just where I'm from?

My kid told me the other day that Cheney School District is larger than the state of Rhode Island.
