Apologies if this was already posted, but it's awesome. Apparently this USA goal over Panama put Mexico in the World Cup and they express their thanks.

They can show up and play on their knees and beat the Kiwis. Mexico's ticket is as good as punched for the WC.

Soccer plays with a running clock unlike other sports. One of the officials calculates the time of delays with dead balls and adds that to the time of the game. Usually somewhere between 2-5 minutes a half.

Kiwis beat Italy in the last World Cup. The Me-hee-cans will be watching this one from home, like they deserve.

That's all you needed to see. I thought it was cool to hear the announcer go from Spanish to, "we love you, we love you forever and ever, God bless America!"

I hope so. I’m still scratching my head as to why we didn’t purposely lose to Panama in that final game.

That's not ethical, even when tanking to get the #1 draft pick....

Don't sell New Zealand short just yet I'am quite sure they have WC aspirations as well.

USA was playing their B and C team. Wouldn't that be considered unethical?

Your saying that Uncle Sam took Panama lightly by playing their B&C squads???

No I'm saying Uncle Sam had nothing to play for since they already locked up the top qualifying spot from CONCAF.

There is a difference in playing second string to avoid injuries to your stars and to give the back-ups experience and tanking.

Even though we had B and C players, those players were still trying their hardest to win and impress the coaches.

I know that, but given the hatred between the two teams (USA & MX) it would have been nice to see MX miss the WC. US had that opportunity and didn't act on it.

I don't have an Uncle Sam. I had an Uncle Rudy that worked for Lance crackers and would give us free crackers. Crackers as in the treat, not white people. He wasn't giving us white people.

That sounds a bit racist. Is this an urban term?
