Joe Flacco-earning his paycheck

29th-rated QB in the league this season, and now he's whining like a baby about the Ravens running the wildcat.

Discuss. :coffee:

Does Tom Brady, Peyton Manning or Aaron rodgers run the BS wildcat? How's Matt Ryan doing this year, he got paid more. Flacco is playing behind a shitty o-line and has no time. If you were a starting QB in the NFL, would you like to be giving another QB playing time, while you have to be a target lining up as a Z?

Andrew Luck's line is even worse, and he still manages to have a rating 10 points higher than Flacco. Makes a fraction on what Flacco does, too. :coffee:

Sacks allowed:
Baltimore - 37
Indianapolis - 24

Rushing per game:
Baltimore - 81.7
Indianapolis - 109.9

Not sure on what you're basing that claim.

BTW, Flacco 2010 Salary: $2.7 million, 2010 QB Rating: 93.6

If Luck were as immobile as Flacco, he'd be sacked a lot more.

Joe's not fleet of foot, but you have nothing to show the Ravens O-line is better than Indy's.

Joe is having a tough year. Only the very elite QB's have a rating over 80 every year... Manning, Brees, Brady... Joe is not to that level. Not sure many would try to argue that. You don't think Luck will be paid similarly to Joe next time his contract comes up?

The proper title is Super Bowl MVP and University of Delaware alumnus Joe Flacco, starting Quarterback of the World Champion Baltimore Ravens.

Now what were you saying?

I'll agree with what other posters have said, you obviously haven't watched a Ravens game this year. Is Ray Rice averaging 2 yards per carry because he sucks? No, the OL blows & outside of Torrey Smith the WR corps is nothing to write home about which is why teams stack the box & bring pressure vs Baltimore.

Just pay more attention & you'll make smarter observations.

Correct.

Do you happen to know his middle school?

As a matter of fact, I believe it was --- Haviland Avenue School ---- on Haviland Ave in Audubon of course. :)

Tony Romo has never had a season rating below 90 but he is perhaps the worst QB of all time. :coffee:

probably because he's won as many playoff games as Tim Tebow.

Sidebar: for whatever reason I don't hate Romo this year.

Flacco is a great playoff performer and as clutch as any qb playing. Romo has not done well with his big chances. Maybe he will change that this year but you can't compare him to Flacco.

I won't be surprised if Joe leads this Ravens team back to the playoffs. His arm is second to none. If there is such a thing as a "winner" Joe is the epitome of one.

We Delaware fans wish he had won one more game in 2007, of course, but what he has done in the pros has been nothing short of incredible:

1. First round pick.
2. Started game one as a rookie.
3. Led team to playoffs in every season to date.
4. Won a playoff game in every season in NFL to date.
5. Led team to AFC Championship Game as a rookie.
6. Led team to AFC Championship Game in three of first five seasons.
7. Won Superbowl in fifth season.
8. Superbowl XLVII MVP.
9. 11 TDs, 0 INTs in 2012 playoffs.
10. Signed $120.6M contract in March 2013.
11. Has never missed a game.

Well put. That should put this thread to bed.
