Wednesday, December 18, 7pm CST from Minneapolis. Both are now 20 points/10 rebounds per game, one just arrived at that plateau and his team is winning, and the other has been getting these stats and his team is still losing. Blazers on the end of a 4 game East Coast road trip, should be a good game. Available on NBA League Pass.

Minnesota has managed to survive the assault of David Stern ala David Kahn, and has become a challenger for a playoff spot. They will probably have a winning record at the end of the season. Just went through a stretch of 6 road games in the last 8. Love 25.0, 13.5 and 4 apg vs Aldridge, 23.6, 11.0 is always a great game. Love is the best outlet passer of all the power forwards in the game. A recent article compared him to Wes Unseld, whom his middle name is in honor of. Love has raised his assists this year to 4 per game. It doesn't hurt that they finally have a shooter on the team. Lillard is far and away better than Rubio, as are most of the Portland players, but the Wolves will be in the playoff hunt, barring injuries. Too bad it's Love's last season with the Wolves. David Stern Kahn made sure of than.

If I read it right, Game 2 isn't until January.
