This is believed to be a first in the State of Illinois. Even better: she plans to serve her country after high school, as she's applied to AFA, USNA, and USCGA. Hopefully she kicks her academy to a bowl win before going on to active duty. (Naturally, I'm hoping it's Annapolis....)
