2013 Broncos vs. History

The Peyton Manning-led Broncos have done some amazing things (as have several other people lately), but they haven't done everything their fans have been claiming. Try THESE stats on for size....
Single-Season Rushing: best recent Adrian Peterson, 2012. Still hasn't beaten Eric Dickerson, 1984.
Team PPG: best recent Denver 2013. Still can't beat L.A. Rams 1950.
Passing Yardage in one Game: best recent Tony Romo 2013. Still can't beat Norm Van Brocklin 1951.
Receiving Yardage in one Game: best recent Megatron 2013. Still can't beat Flipper Anderson 1989.
I love the Cowboys and currently like P. Manning and Drew Brees, but over the years, NOBODY can beat the L.A. Rams when it comes to certain long-held records. These might NEVER be broken, even in today's pass-happy era with extra games.
