The Texas Rangers selected 2B Russell Wilson from the Colorado Rockies chain in the Rule 5 Draft, and have just signed him. They expect the erstwhile Seattle Seahawks Super Bowl-winning quarterback to suit up in the Cactus League on Monday

I wonder how this will work out. A former two-sport athlete at NC State, Wilson hit .229 with 5 HR in 93 pro games, all at Class A or lower, before transferring to Wisconsin and getting drafted by the Seahawks.

He'll get beaned, lose partial sight in 1 eye ruining his baseball career that never was and his football career which is at it's peak now.
