Packers - Shields gets four-year, $39 million deal

I'm glad the Packers resigned him as he is getting better but at that price I thought it was a bit much! I guess the price for starting CB's is rising!!

I thought the same thing. Seemed a little high, but with the passing trend increasing, cb and de wages are set to increase

There was another CB that signed today for $39 million. Can't remember the name but he was rated as a higher FA than Shields. But his contract guaranteed $20 million where I think Shields was $13 million and change.
