Notice it's not the offense they are worried about....
Keep putting the blame for that loss in the wrong place...

Absolutely.
With a healthy Von Miller that defense is going to be nuts.

DeMarcus Ware is on the down slope of a great career. Not sure how much he has left!

They said the same thing about Junior Seau at the time the Chargers dumped him, and he played at a high level for about another ten years, and even got in at least one Super Bowl....

By high level I think you mean situational substitute.

Yeah...he only played 7 seasons after leaving SD...not a decade....
The most tackles he had after leaving SD was 66...the year after he left San Diego
He averaged 33 tackles per season after leaving SD
Had just 9.5 sacks in 7 years after leaving SD
Played in all 16 games just once after leaving SD
Played in double digit games just 3 times after leaving SD
The year he got to the super bowl was due to the fact the Pats went 16-0 and had, at the time, the best offense in NFL history. He started just 4 games that season...though it was arguably his best overal season after leaving SD...likely due to the fact he was a situational guy that played probably 30% of the snaps per game and could give a lot more effort for a short time.
His value to his teams after leaving SD (sabermetric style stat) were 8 5 2 6 4 1 1...compared to 16 15 15 14 14 11 17 12 13 11 8 in San Diego (leaving his first two years off). You can see the downward trend there.
He was a great player in SD and one of the best LBs of all time...but he was on his last legs in SD and kept getting life line after life line because he was a good guy with a big name. Afer 6 straight 100+ tackle seasons he went 84 92 75 103 84 60. He was clearly slowing down, wasn't playing as many snaps.

SH is also glossing over the fact that nobody wanted him so he had a retirement party (which the Chargers paid for) and was all set to hang them up. Then was brought on in NE. It's not like he was given the cold shoulder by the Chargers as SH tries to spin it.

Well...there's that too.

Two best teams IMO are still Seatte & San Fran.

That kinda depends on whether the Broncos added chemistry or their moves are all Yankee moves. An additional factor for them is that they stupidly let Decker get away to the Namaths....

If I were a Denver fan I'd be more than just a little concerned that the blue print for beating the Bronco's is now out there for everyone to view! But that's just my Opinion...

It wasn't chemistry that saw the Broncos beat down in the Super Bowl. They got beat because Manning can't throw a deep ball anymore and because their offensive line wasn't able to stop a defense like you see in Seattle or San Fran. Manning's a year older next year and nothing Denver has done has fixed what ailed them in the Super Bowl. It's still between Seattle and San Fran right now.

This will piss half of you off but, the NFC is just much better than the AFC nowadays.

DRCs problem is run support needs to bone up on that to live up to status as a top DB.

I don't know about that. NFC East and North were terrible last year. I would argue that the NFC West makes it seem as if the NFC is stronger since the four teams in the division are above average to elite teams.

I wouldn't go THAT far. The Whiners and the Seahawks will be doing damage in the playoffs for some time to come (barring some sort of massive injury problem or front office incompetence, neither of which seem very likely right now), but I'm not so sure about the others. The Cardinals have at least a 50-year history of suckage, and even in the rare years where they do something, they ALWAYS revert to form. They haven't been any good AT LEAST since the early years in St. Louis, if not all the way back to Chicago. The Rams have a decent quarterback, but haven't been able to surround him with much, and have been underachieving lately, although they DO have the advantage of my awesome UOP teammate (and Weber alum) John Fassel as their Special Teams Coordinator. (The Raiders REALLY screwed the pooch when they got rid of him in their bogus coaching fire sale.)

The Seahawks are about to test how good their front office is.
They will have some huge cap numbers to put up, or lose the players, in the next year or two. We've already seen this start.
They are going to end up paying close to, if not over, 20 million a year to keep Wilson.
Lynch is 28 and going to be 30 at the end of his current deal...What do the Seahawks do with him? Pay him the big money he will be after....OR..cut him lose and try to replace him with someone?
Golden Tate is gone, Sidney Rice is gone (Hey SE...want to keep telling me how big a steal he was?) both because of money
If Percy can't stay healthy is he worth the 7-8 million per year they are paying him?
Doug Baldwin might not be back due to money
Right now their WR corp is at Ricardo Lockette, Jermaine Kearse, Percy Harvin...and then three guys who were practice squad last year under contract
On the OL Okung is due $11.24 million this season with escalators to over 17 million
They were able to resign Michael Bennett @ over 7 million per year for the next 4 years...
Clinton Mcdonald is now gone to Tampa Bay
The DBs are solid through this season but are going to be due for larger pay days than Seattle may be able to give them.
They will be very good again this year but their front office is about to really be tested going forward to maintain their current level of play

A blueprint is meaningless without the materials to build it.

Doug Baldwin will be back, he's a RFA with a 2nd round tender. Primary WR corps will be Percy, Baldwin, Kearse, and likely a big outside guy we take in the first three rounds of the draft. Clinton McDonald had a good season, but he's a rotational player, and not too difficult to replace. As for Lynch, we already have his replacement in Christine Michael. Front office definitely has work to do in order to balance ET, Sherm, and Wilson's extensions, but they haven't exactly shown themselves to be incompetent in making prudent roster/cap decisions.
