Big Twins fan....I've already given up on the season.
Pretty much everyone I know is either a Twins or Cubs fan. There are a lot of similarity between the two. Both have gone a long time without a title (though one much longer than the other). Both wear red, white, and blue. Both have great fan bases. Both are pretty bad.
There is one key difference I've noticed between the two fanbases though with opening day here. Cubs fans are always full of hope...and then by mid-season are miserable and hate life. Twins fans start the season that way and by mid-season we've actually gone through all the steps of grieving, twice, and just go with the flow.

Some Atl Braves fans start out hopeful but expect to be disappointed by the end.

The Phils will be lucky not to lose 100 this year.
I'd like to see the Pirates have another good year and go farther this year in the playoffs.

I'd like to see that as well. I'm a Braves fan first and foremost, but I root for the Cubs and Pirates.

Well, got free tix to a pro tennis tourney so I didn't do my usual opening day festivities. Oh well, I got to see Serena Williams.
