Good news from a soccer fan perspective in the US. The US will host a 2016 version of the Copa America tournament. Basically like a smaller World Cup without European teams (and African teams, but no one really cares about the African teams anyway). This version will have the US, Mexico, 4 other crappy CONCACAF teams, and then all 10 South American teams. Since there's not a World Cup coming to America until 2026 at the earliest (assuming the disaster in Qatar in 2022 still happens) this will be the biggest tournament we could get short of a World Cup. Host cities will still need to be determined.

Nah, nothing racist about it, just that they get a bunch of hype every 4 years and then, invariably, maybe one makes it to the knock out round and they normally go out soon thereafter (assuming they don't play the US).

I know I dont have to remind you that it was an African team that has knocked us out of the last two World Cups
