OK. So I RARELY if ever bash a girl (outside of the idiots L.A. and S.F. stupidly over-rode the rest of my homestate on to put into the Congress), particularly one who likes football. But THIS one takes the cake.
USA Football posted a picture of A.J. McCarron to FB, his number modified to reflect the fact that we now have 100 days until college football starts. (Incidentally, where's G.A.S. with his traditional 100 Days threads?) The organization asked who people thought was the pre-season #1, with the clear implication (from the pic AND the 100 Day reference) that the intent was for the pre-season COLLEGE football #1. One chick declared that the N.O. Saints were #1. Since when were the 'Aints members of the NCAA?!?
Secondary stupidity goes to the dude who declared Drew Brees the #1 "team" in the country.
Of course, all you guys can bash ME at the same time. While everyone positing various FBS teams for the #1 tag, I, of course, dropped my Hornet Bomb on them, in addition to getting in a dig at the dumb FBS. We'll see how long it takes for someone to freak out about that. You wouldn't believe how many FBSians have the delusional idea that FCS is another name for D-II....
