Danica Patrick has qualified in the 4 slot for the Coke 600. At least ONE analyst seems to think that this combined with her recent roll might be enough to get her the duke. I, of course, have faith in her....

Danica has DNF'ed in roughly 15% of her races. I haven't look at any other drivers, yet, but I don't think there are many with a rate that high.

Her average finish for her career is 26.45

Average start position is 29

Led a total of 13 laps...she's run 16,823 laps....or 1 lap every 1,300 laps run....and all 13 came in the same race.

Her DNF rate and top 10 finish rate are nearly identical.

To her credit...she's a marketing machine.

She isn't ugly. She's a woman.

Those two things will keep her in the sport for years...no matter how she actually races.

Well...not really the fact shes a women...but the other one. There have been plenty of other women drivers that have gotten zero attention....wonder why that is?

again...how many of them would have jobs commercials if they went the first two and a half years of their career with 1 win, having a dnf rate of 15 percent, a top 10 rate of 15 percent, and having led a total of 13 laps?
