West Sacramento (different county from "regular" Sacramento) ticked 66 cars supposedly "illegally parked" on an "unimproved surface" after being directed there by Raley Field parking lot staff the night of a Rivercats game. (The Rivercats are the Oakland Athletics' AAA affiliate.) The team is denying that their staff screwed up (of course).
This hits the news NOW, just days before the protest time limit hits on Saturday....

POS Alert: West Sac Cops

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.
Re: POS Alert: West Sac Cops
such laws are ridiculous. if conditions are right (it's not all muddy, etc.), then I don't see any harm in parking on "unimproved surfaces". Our country already has too much cement/asphalt/gravel. Why force more lots to be covered just for occasional parking for a few hours when a grass lot works just fine?
