Congratulations to Olympic Gold Medalist Jenn Suhr, who won the US Championship in the pole vault at Hornet Stadium this afternoon with a jump of 15'1". She struggled after just barely making her opening height (the height at which she won), but it didn't matter as nobody else cleared 15'.

I'm sure ep or dal will chime in with the other events....

Coming in last (among those who actually finished; there was one DNF and one DQ) in the 880 at the National Championships was one Alysia Montano, who finished in 2:32.13. Big drop-off from her 1:57.34 in Morocco in 2010, you say? It's understandable. She's 34 weeks PREGGERS!

I defy YOU to break 2 minutes in the 880 while pregnant!

;-)
