If they can avoid major injures to key players........................I think they are going to be pretty darn good!

Rogers, Nelson and Cobb with a running game........

OL looks much improved over last year. DL as well. Might even intercept a pass at the safety spot this year!

I agree. One problem I see is their Oline depth took a huge hit when they traded their primary backup to the Pats. Hence, their starting Oline better stay healthy or Rodgers may run for his life again. I'm predicting them to take the division as I don't see the Bear's D improving much over last season.

Actually it was a DL they traded and he might turn out OK but was doing nothing in GB. They DID lose their top OL backup to injury so like I said, baring key injures....

Wow my bad :dunce: . Was the DL even going to make the team? That seems strange to cut depth if he was a primary backup to someone.

From what I read he was on par with some others and not a sure bet at all to make the team. They only got a 7th round draft pick but it eliminated a future decision early and they got something for him.

How is Jeff Janis the rookie WR doing so far I heard he made a 38 yd one handed grab on Sam Shields in practice.Did he get any action vs St.Louis in their pre-season game????

He turned a 8 yard pass over the middle (inside slant route or drag route I think) into a 30 something yard TD Out ran everyone. Creating quite a buzz and I hear he's making a play a day in camp. BUT, they say best bet is to "make" the team but he still is a long way from getting much playing time this year. Just doesn't have the experience and his route running has to improve a lot.So much in the GB offense is timing and exact breaks and adjustments.....Even Jordy Nelson didn't play much his rookie year.

Not so confident now that Raji is out for the year. If they can replace him it would be great, but the stats show the defense against the run is bad when Raji is out.

Looks like Janis made the team as the 5th WR. Good for him! I'm hoping he can also take come return duty away from Cobb.
