Thats what I would have done too. Blacks are overrepresented in the NFL and we need quotas for white players.

Which is why the cut Sam. They don't need a pro-homo lifestype drama made for TV special focused on this team this year. Clearly this cut came from the top. Obviously the coaches wanted him on this team, owner and Gm decided otherwise.

All I know is that I have an uncle's nephew's son's girlfriend who cleans the Rams' GM's toilets and also doubles as their nanny. They did not want a homo on their team. Period. She also said they regularly use the N word in that house...of course her english is awful so they could have just been making a Starbucks order. I'm sticking with the anti-homo/racist undertone. The Pats cut two rookie draftees yesterday...check around the league and you will find others...

This is an issue because of one reason....

Maybe he just wasn't good enough.

THey should have tried converting him to a tight end.

Lots of rookie 6th-7th rounders get cut...

I read somewhere that only 12 players got 2.5 sacks or more and 10+ tackles in the preseason. 10 are on rosters, 1 made a practice squad, and 1 was cut.
